Founded in 1988 by Michael Haykin, the predecessor firm to Haykin Wealth Management was built with a vision for the future. In 2009, Daniel joined Michael in his firm. Together, the father-son team has more than 48 years of professional investing experience.

Daniel Haykin
Daniel graduated from the University of Rochester with degrees in Economics and History. He spent several years working on Wall Street for Moody’s and Lehman Brothers. In 2009, Daniel returned to Colorado to join his father's investment advisory firm. Daniel appreciates the personal side of working with individuals and families compared to his time managing institutional money.
Daniel also consults with Haykin Family Cider, a boutique beverage company led by his wife, Talia Haykin. Together they live in Denver with their three children.
Michael Haykin
Trained as an engineer, Michael has a Master’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from Leningrad Polytechnic Institute. He worked as a Senior Development Engineer, designing computer hard drives from 1981 to 1995 while establishing his advisory business. He left engineering in 1995 to pursue investment advisory full time. In 2009, he brought his son Daniel into the business to help focus on growth and securing the future.
Michael lives in Centennial with his wife Elena.
